Crabby Oddwaters began decades ago in a tiny building on Mary's Creek, where local fisherman gathered to sell their day's catch. Crabby's has since evolved to into a full-service restaurant and bar, popular with locals and visitors alike, offering fresh seafood caught daily by descendants of those same local fishermen.
In our dining room, there's always something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for delicious, locally caught seafood or a homestyle, low-country meal, our kitchen will cook you up a treat! We keep it simple and focus on fresh. While you’re here, quench your thirst with a full bar, featuring NC craft beers on tap.
In 2019, Crabby Oddwaters was purchased by owner, Tim Soots, along with Bill's Seafood Market (on the ground floor, below Crabby's). Tim and his family have a strong passion for fresh seafood and the meals they grew up eating here, on the North Carolina coast. This love shows through in Crabby's crowd favorites; such as our fresh, sea food steamer pots, southern-style hush puppies, and Sara’s home-made key lime pie. Visit Crabby's and taste the best of coastal, low-country cooking.
Crabby Oddwaters and Bill’s Seafood Market are committed to serving the freshest possible seafood as well as the long-term vitality of ocean species, the health of our environment, and the livelihood of the local community. We consider the impact of each of our business practices in relation to this. Together, Bill’s Seafood and Crabby Oddwaters has our very own fleet of fishing boats that go out into local waters, every day. They bring their catch directly back to our kitchen and the Bill’s Seafood counter, downstairs. So when you order from from us, you know you’re getting fresh, local seafood, caught by generations of local fishermen.
Be sure to visit Bill's Seafood, located on the first floor, to see what's biting in the Atlantic today.
